This is my first attempt at lace- but in a fantastic chunky wool, namely Big Wool Tuft in Shiver. The scarf is called Pia from Rowan's 'Big Wool Just Got Bigger' and the lace pattern only requires you to work very basic stitches on size 20mm needles- rockets, really, ridiculous. I love it, it is super warm and sexy and even my mum wants one.
