Cold-derived FO...
Yep, she of the rubbish immune system (not that bad, honestly), found herself laid low on the second day of the conference mentioned by Glittr below, resulting in two days wrapped up on the sofa in front of a fire and GMTV. Good for recovery, not good for the soul.
However, as a result of ginger tea, butternut squash soup, blueberry smoothies and Green and Black's Dark Cherry Chocolate, I am crawling back to the land of the living.
AND it meant I could legitimately knit all day (when I was feeling strong enough and not either sleeping or reading 'Cloud Atlas' by David Mitchell. Or watching Lorraine and Philip).
So here we have a few close-ups of the 'Airy Scarf' from Last Minute Knitted Gifts from the lady at Purl, knitted to go in my last package to my Secret Pal in April, with ball of Kidsilk Haze in Marmalade (and needles for effect)...

And in close-up to show simple lace eyelet pattern.

It uses half a ball of kidsilk haze and even DJ Mikey thought the scarf was beautiful and told me to knit more of them. It is a book I am most impressed with (although I have heard a few people complain of mistakes in patterns).
And Glittr is right, it was a good conference by its very nature of allowing me to mess around with my best pals. Pity I was already feeling poo by the first day, as I went to bed at 11 p.m. of the conference dinner and did not indulge in booze-induced debauchery. Aw. Bum. Hello Glittr, Dr Pop, Steve etc. (waves). Hello Liz (waves again).
DJ Mikey has buggered off for an Indian with our mates, so I'll put a photo of Airy Scarf on neck when he gets back (or tomorrow sometime when he is back from surfing).
As promised, Airy Scarf on me...

And an arty close up from DJ Mikey...
