Stripey yoga mat bag and Cannes
I finally remembered to take a piccie of the yoga mat bag that I knitted from the KoolAid dyed yarn that Scumkitten and I dyed earlier in the year (based on this pattern). It matched my friend Denise's mat much better than mine so I gave it to her. It's nice to see it used every week at our yoga class! The pics are really grainy as they were taken with camera phone in bad light, but you get the general idea.
And I finished stitching up Cannes from Rowan Beach Cool, in Cotton Braid and Cotton Glace.
Not sure about this yet - it might grow on me.

Love your Beach Cool top. I have a question for you...
when the pattern says "knit stockinette until work measures 11/12 cm" after the garter stitch rows, did you knit 11/12 cm of stockinette, or did you measure from the very beginning?
I'm wondering because I'm trying to knit the top and don't seem to have enough rows of stockinette!

I really like your yoga bag! I just learned how to knit & have been knitting scarfs, beannies, & socks.. I was wondering if you could share your instructions for the yoga bag so that I can make it for my friends. Thanks.
