OMG!OMG!OMG!OMG! Knitmonkey - will you marry me????
Phew. Breathe. Calm.
I got my final box from my SP - knitmonkey today.
I nearly cried as I eagerly opend the box on the bus, tearing mercilessly through the lovely little butterflies decorating my package.
Inside was a veritable treasure chest of loveliness. So many beautiful things, handmade and full of thought. I feel very, very spoiled. As the lump in my throat grew and my eyes filled up, my vision blurred, and I began to rip open the tissue paper covering a multitude of gifts.
Here's the loot:
My what a lot! can you see the Green & Black's Maya Gold? My favourite! And Monica is hooked too.... I sent her some in the last SP round....
Loads and loads of lovely lovely lovely things..... and all for me.....
.... a pink and orange wet felted pincushion, a green glittery egg full of handmade stitch markers in green and pink - so useful as I needed some smaller ones.... and a pattern for some ski masks so that Scumkitten and I can complete our knitted terrorist identities.... the latest Interwaeve Knits, a gorgeous girly catalogue which has inspired me to take up my needle again and go back to handsewing and customising my own clothes (it's called Anthropologie, the catalogue)...
..... a sheepy Pez dispenser and some Pez sweeties (Ihaven't seen these in years!), some very girly butterfly paper hankies, and a marvellous green bowl with a cat on it so that Greebo has a new bowl to match the new kitchen..... you can just see some patterns for knitted flowers too.... my this girl has done her research....
.... a beautiful handmade flower, which I intend to turn into a hair decoration....
... to match the piece de resistance.... I'm truly speechless. Gobsmacked. Just look at this bag......
Thanks you so much for all of this Monica. I am flabbergasted. Truly and utterly my gast is completely flabbered. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. This has been the best SP ever!

yeah! so very happy :) that was the desired reaction & I'm so glad you like all the handmades & other goodies.
But, I have to agree with Scum, you do deserve it. It's been so fun to SP gift you & honestly really easy too. now go show that bag & flower what good times the UK has to offer.
