Stash flash, first spring flowers and a RAK

Just managed to get it all in one shot. More close ups to follow....
But first - the first spring flowers on my balcony, grape hyacinths!

And my stash guard....

Right. Enough of this stash flash nonsense. Much more important things have happened. The postie brought me a parcel this morning from the Scumkitten. My I am happy!

The card reads: To the sweet glittr, she of sparkley eyes and tiny shoes, a beacon in the english fog, exotic (in a geordie way) and fun, fun, fun. Here's a RAK to get you ready for a sexy summer... with love...
I'm blissed out. Really I am....

I am not sure she is guarding the stash or planning her attack!

Great StashGuard. I see your Kittie lifts weights. Does she have a workout routine? Iif so, is it out on video? And, can Dogs do her routine?

That looks like a suspiciously high quality and organised stash to me...where's all the random bits of crap acrylic like I've got cloggin' up my yarn cupboard just in case I ever need a bit of acid green double knit from the late 1970s! Huh?

I did actually lie on the stash naked, Scumkitten, and I thought of you my dear...... Tacha and Alison - my kitty is a big boy, and yes he does lift weights, every day. The routine cannot be done by dogs since they are not flexible enough and cannot dislocate joints at will as cats seem to be able to do... ;)
Helen - my stash is small but perfectly formed. I tend to knit and get rid of acrylic as soon as I acquire it - sometimes I *do* BUY acrylic, but usually its novelty yarn for specific presents. Otherwise it's mainly Rowan, Noro and US handpainteds. I go for quality rather than quantity. If I didn't stick to the luxury end of the market, my stash would be 10 times bigger, since it's usually a lot cheaper. But end of season sales are lethal in any yarn format......
