Holiday knitting results
I did quite a bit of knitting whilst lounging by the pool and in the shady tree lined groves.
Meet Maryella number two (thanks again to Knitmonkey for the kits from round 3 of SP)....

The Wave skirt from the Spring 2005 Interweave Knits in oceany colours of Brown Sheep Cotton Fleece (mag also courtesy of the fantastic Knitmonkey), here she is pre-blocking...
... and the Cascade Fixation (well about a third of it) which Knitmonkey sent to me, knitted into the bikini pattern from the Knitty Gritty site. Ladies with boobage take note - this pattern works!
I also got halfway through knitting up the first lot of HipKnits handpainted silk into a camisole, but that's for another entry!

The pictures from your trip are fantastic! You must have had a wonderful time. I wish I could have tagged along!
I'm so glad you like your gifts. It makes me happy that they brought you (and your kitty) a little joy.
I am a HUGE fan of Knitty Gritty! I've been thinking about making the sarong from that episode, but now I may have to do the bikini as well. Especially if you say it would work for "well endowed" ladies.
Enjoy your weekend,
Amy

This is the first wavy skirt that I've really liked, color-wise. The colors you chose blend together really well and this looks like something you would find in a nice shop or a magazine; not homemadey. I'm glad to hear the bikini works for the boobage! I'm afraid to try one with my big girls. :)
