SP presents and two scarves full of air

Image(548).jpg

My SP sent me this lovely package containing some delicious Godiva chocolates, 4 balls of beautiful turquoise bamboo yarn - can't wait to make a cami with it! Plus yarnharlots book At Knit's End, Meditations For Women Who Knit Too Much. Fantastic! I love getting gifts!

I finally got round to uploading these two scarves. Scumkitten gave me the marmalade Kidsilk Haze which I duly turned into the Airy Scarf from Last Minute Knitted Gifts. The pattern was so easy and quick to knit up that I decided to play with it, and used 10mm needles and a strand of Rowan Lurex Shimmer in Minty with a strand of Kidsilk Haze in Trance. I like the result, the drape is gorgeous!
