DJ Mikey- is he great, or what? (happy dance)
So Glittr and I are both on a bit of a Blythe trip at the moment- we both own three of the monkeys and very happy we are too.... except. I've been more than a little obsessed with one particular madam since I got Franke in May. Her name is Mitten and she is a limited edition (hence hell on earth price) plus almost impossible to come by, certainly in her full incarnation. Here she is:
She's based on a Russian children's animation character (and very few people know that I've been mad about russian fairy tales every since my mum and dad bought me an illustrated book on them when I was little) and comes with a petite blythe dressed as her little red dog. Wanting her is insane. I couldn't bring myself to do it. I couldn't justify her, however much I wanted her (and I don't believe we should always get what we want in this world- I think that is one of the problems of our current western society, this assumption that we CAN have everything we want).
But DJ Mikey, he went ahunting on the web. Secretly. And Mitten is winging her way across the atlantic as we speak. This is an advanced birthday/xmas present, you understand. Apparently it would'be been snowboard boots and bindings, but I'm going to get those anyway, so....
Mitten, yay! But no customisation there, no sirree. I'll have to be careful with her.

I have tried, believe me, but so far I've only come up with monkeys and tall thin bendy alien creatures that glow in the dark. Not what you're after, really. Ho hum. Science is a harsh mistress.
