I am going to make an x-back tank with a pale blue ribbon yarn and sequins added every 3rd row (for a "random" sparkle effect). When do we start?

I went a bit mad thinking abut potential sparKAL projects. I had already ordered 4 Maryella kits from Earthfaire before I was prompted into sparKAL, and I had forgotten I had ordered them. So, I went out and bought two choices of Rowan Cotton Glace and some sequins. The Rowan Consultant in Newcastle, Eleanor, had designed some lovely little sequined dolly bags, so she helped me choose some colours and gave me the patterns for two slightly different ones. Perfect for sparKAL I thought.
Then the 4 kits from Earthfaire arrived.... Now I am spoiled for choice.... and I have a ball of Berocco Lazer FX that amylovie sent to me which is just calling to be used in a sparKAL project. Golly, what's a girl to do?

I have been finishing up a few things that required my attention (actually still am!!), but I think I'm about ready to begin!
I have a sparkly gold tank that I made and have been wanting a shrug to wear with it. I have some oh-so-soft brown alpaca blend yarn, but want to give it a little kick (and sparkles, of course!), so I swatched it up with some of the gold yarn from the tank top and I really like it. My DH isn't too sure though and I trust his opinion, so I may need to post pics on my site to get your thoughts - I'm thinking an OSW with longer sleeves.....

Hi,
Purlpower left a comment on my blog (http://spinningsue.blogspot.com) about your KAL. I was playing around plying my handspun yarn with some gold thread. Problem is I don't have much! 10gms already plied with the gold and another 15gms of the pink to ply. No more gold thread though - damn will have to buy some. So whatever I knit will be small but count me in!

I have some beads in my stash that I have a project in mind for. This is just the push I need!
