zib adds to the knit-a-blog
After a long delay due to the postal systems in Europe, the knit-a-blog has been with zib for her allocated time and is now on it's way to the States.
A little Etna reference?

Loving the weird tuboid thingy. Any chance that I might be able to participate in the Knit a Blog or is it all sorted out now? LOL

Zib's addition is "priceless"! Her brain should be kept in a jar for scientific research (I mean this as a compliment). The knit-a-blog is awesome. I wish I could see the work more closely. I have clicked on the thumbnails though. I forgot to keep up with the Knit-a-blog and wonder if you will be giving an update about it's beginnings and of each person's story to go with their piece.

Never mind on last comment about pic problem. I zoned for a moment. I got the pics to work for me. Still would be interesting to hear a little more on the inspiration for those of us who came late to the play. Thanks, Ali

There is a journal, started by Scumkitten, which is travelling with the knit-a-blog, and I understand, from those who have contributed already, that it contains much of the kind of information you indicate, ali. Once I am in possession of the object itself, I will be documenting both the journal and the knit-a-blog fully, and devoting a page on this blog for posterity. We intend to auction the object and donate the cash to the upkeep of the knittyboards.

I think, once we have the journal plus knitting back, we should try and pdf the journal for Glittyknittykitty readers- good idea?

I was thinking of photographing the whole lot .....

I meant as well as photoing the knitted item.... but photoing the journal pages would work, as long as they are in focus and big enough to read...
