Sunday fun and confusion
It's been a busy day here chez glittr, with some lantern conversion activity. I found a lovely Morrocan lantern, which I knew would add to the souk/bordello feeling slowly developing in the front room of the flat. I needed to convert it to an electric light fitting. I think we were reasonably successful - it looks nice and works.
While we were playing with electricity, Merrell was nowhere to be found. I caught her on the phone. How does she manage to pick up and dial the darned thing? She's a doll for [insert preferred deity here]'s sake. Anyway it turns out she had been on there hours. I was suspicious of the phone whore job rearing its (very) ugly head again, so listened in a while and caught her on camera....
.... sounded like she was talking to a girlfriend, but as there was a lot of whispering I can't be sure. I sure as hell am confused though. She has a friend? How?

Hi Mattie, I can't use the phone just now - I ran the battery on the handset down when we were talking earlier. However, in answer to your question, if you keep em oiled and very sharp, you shouldn't have any problems. I sent you a pic. She has an email addy she never uses either, silly tart set one up for the CAT. Man that creature makes my life a misery. He spies on me ALL the time. I am sure he tells her what I have been doing. Anyway, when I can get to the phone (once its charged again - I had to wait for her to come in and put it back on the base station, damned handset is too heavy, me being a doll and all) I will call you, maybe when she has gone to bed.

I heard the boys talking about cats late last night: they said something about 'mustard' and 'cat's bums' and 'running 'til they die'. Maybe something you could investigate? I have a few issues of my own however: not with her, but with the fact that the ginger minger here keeps getting all the attention from the boys. I'd welcome some advice on THAT, as well as the other thing. By the way, will the oiling get rid of any squeaks? And how do I prevent stains?

Yes I am very familiar with the cat mustard trick.It's keeping em still whilst you dollop it on thats the problem, then their bumhole twitches like an over zealous old auntie waanting a kiss from her oh so handsome young nephew..... Works on naughty boys quite well too.....
As far as the ginger minger is concerned, I have the same trouble here, but I find once I change into a little black shiny number I get loads of attention.
Oiling - squeaks - works a treat, stain prevention - try wearing a rubber or leather apron.

Phew thanks for that. You'll be glad to know that whilst they've been at work I've managed to set the machinery up quite well, and it seems to be totally hidden. Ginger Minger and Little Miss Purple were too busy preening to notice what I was doing, and the other one is still blind (I'm seriously hoping I don't get that sort of attention), so no problems there. She didn't even see me moon her.
The Man is coming back early this afternoon to go surfing- so I may get the batteries connected soonest and get it all going before he arrives. Nothing like a test run! I think he'll like it tho', and hell, anything I can do to encourage male attention, right? I KNOW he likes my boots and furry choker...
