Yarn pr0n and another hat
Yesterday was The Centurion knitting club. Jeanie was a more than generous enabler and had brought along preordered little bags of fun. We shiftily handed over the requisite cash, and went scuttling off to dark corners of the pub to gloat over our glorious velvety stash additions. Colinette whores every one of us, yarn addicts in every little hidey hole, smelling, stroking, oohing and aahing. Desperate to get home to needles. Panting at the prospect of quick craft fixes, almost instant gratification. This stuff makes up quick. Mine is of dark bohemian purply loveliness. Look - see?
And while I was there, I started a beanie in Noro Aurora no 1. Two hours at the Centurion, and another hour at home, and it was done. Nice little head hugger.
And it has shiny bits in it. Nuff said.

Well Amy, Jeanie went to a workshop at the Colinette place in Wales, and just to make you really green with envy, she got us all slight seconds, at a much reduced price.... a whole garment for twenty of our English pounds......
