Braiden, an Anchor dishcloth, and Knecklace

So, I have been knitting a lot, as we have eight inches of snow, it's minus 3 outside and I don't want to go outside.

Three FOs!

Here we see Braiden (hat version) from Rowan magazine 38, knitted in Rowan 4 Ply Soft, shade 390 (Victoria), on 3.25mm needles, then smocked in Rowan Yorkshire Tweed Aran, shade 410 (Wild Plum), and finished with KidSilk Haze, shade 597 (Jelly) and glass beads. Then we have an Anchor dishcloth/washcloth in left over Rowan Summer Tweed in cream, which only took a couple of hours to knit. Very satisfying. Alongside that we have a Rowan Cotton Glace Knecklace from the current Knitty. This only took a couple of hours to knit, and looks great (though it needs a bit of steaming to even out the loops) in this lovely pinky colour (band lost, can't remember the shade).

I've got my eye on that necklace pattern from Knitty, too... infact, I think I may just have a break from hats and designing patterns and go knit one now... cheers for reminding me!

I adore the Braiden hat that you've knitted! Do you mind if I ask where you got the glass beads? I'm trying to source beads for knitting other than the Jaeger/Rowan ones.

I just bought them from my local John Lewis - I think they are Gutermann...
