Snow=hats

Liv, Danni, Scumkitten and Glittr.

Last weekend saw Cornwall hit with more snow than it has had in total over the last 100 years (p.s. I don't know if that is true, I just made it up, but it sounds good). As a result, three of our friends further into the deep dark west had to either stay in hotels over night or had to walk home from abandoned cars. Our friends from up country made it down however, and Glittr, the lovely Danni and myself introduced another victim to the joys of knitting: yep, hats were produced.... but obviously we have no idea whether Livs will keep on with the knitting faith, so we may have to send one of our secret agents on a mission up to Bristol in the near future to check on her progress.

We had a fabulous time with everyone however, despite the various cider and cold-induced traumas. Many films were watched, much 'Escape from Colditz' played and vast quantities of cheese eaten. I am still hurt that only a fingernail sized piece of St Agur was left for me whilst I was preparing lunch for the vultures. Do you think I believed your stories? Never get between me and cheese.

Oh- and important hat information: knitted in Rowan Big Wool, pattern from Rowan's 'The Bigger Picture', pattern 'Mini'.
