And here in the North East it has been dull, dull, dull. It didn't really get light at all - the sky just gave a dreary dawn a long seeing too, and then quietly and sneakily slipped into silvery dusk before you knew it.
Like I said, dull - even my description makes today's weather sound a lot more exciting than it really was. We do dull weather well in the UK, especially at this time of year. And we like to talk about it. A lot.
They made a big thing on the news today about the this event at The Dana Centre's light lounge in London - the event is devised to draw attention to SAD in the UK. I reckon a lot more than the half a million people suffering from Seasonal Affective Disorder that the Dana Centre's media release highlights. I seem to have all the symptoms highlighted on the SADA website for example..... Oh and Yes this thrummed mobius scarf looks great - but not hard. I made a mobius socktop quite by accident the other day. And there is a link to mobius knitting over there in the Stuff section-->>

Me like the thrummed mobius too... better than he plain one! You could easily adapt the pattern and add the thrums yourself... I'm about to juggle a way to do it on hats...

Hi, I have knitted quite a few Mobius rings/scarves whatever. I like the maths challenge and find them fun and quick to do. If you want links to patterns or to chat about the technique I am happy to help. I use an easy way without buying an expensive kit that will work for any yarn as long as you get the tension right for your yarn and needles. I suspect the Cat Bordi technique may be fun but hard work to work out at first.
