FO: Jaywalkers

jaywalkers.JPG

Two jaywalkers!

Rain at DragonFest meant lots of time for knitting in my tent. I finished the Jaywalkers which I started a while ago. Nice yarn to knit, so thanks again to the delightful Scumkitten for sending it to me. 2mm needles made a sturdy fabric which I hope will wear well, though the pattern makes for socks which do not stretch much. This is more than compensated for by how they turned out.

Dragonfest sounds cool (I followed the link). It seems sort of like a milder, European Burning Man without the crazy hippies. Is that a fair estimation? I want to go to Spain! Ahem. Nice jaywalkers.

Your Jaywalkers look lovely! I just love the way they show off the yarn. I'm just about ready to start my second pair. Beautiful!

And I love the fair aisle skull cap! I love the idea of a little baby wearing that. It cracks me up. And the hot pink lining - even better!

Very pretty! I don't think I've seen that color of LL. I think I might need to knit another pair. :)

That colourway looks fantastic! What is it?

I need to figure out what I'm doing with my LL. It's been bansished to the shelving unit until I find a pattern that it will behave with.

It's the Desert Orchid colourway, and very comfy those socks are too. Not like a European Burning Man, more like....... DragonFest. BM is something else completely. DF is its own thing, completely.
