I once read about an anonymous woman in the early 20th century who explained that she was a feminist because she wanted self-expression (or similar. I forget exactly the words). The journalist interviewing her pointed out that many men don't enjoy that. "Then they should become feminists," she answered. Bingo.
On a humbler note: the Purlescence blog is up at last. Obviously it won't be a patch on this one here, but do stop by.
