The Girls get serious

There has been some hiatus in the Knitted Terrorist world over the last few days (see this post for further details). This has pushed some of the girls into training (and others into serious cocktail drinking). Thanks to the arrival of some beautiful weapons/ sorry, knitting needles from Purlescence, Leon and Reenie have been getting busy with the rosewood, practicing their martial arts.

I find Reenie's outfit of Gold Sequins and green frog wellies most fetching. Leon is sporting a new hat knit in Hipknits cashmere. Click on the thumbnails if you so wish....

P.s. just in case anyone gets uppity about this: just, please, seriously have a think about what you are doing. Think about satire and irony and two fingers up in the face of the oppressor. OK, the girls may not be particularly good at being ironic and satirical- they do have a tendancy to get side tracked by kittens etc.- but one should never underestimate their power for change. Who do you think sewed Dubbya's underpants together? Ah- you haven't heard about that have you. Thought not. Well, it made him late for his golf lesson. So there. That's some serious political action going on right there.

Golfing. Dubbya. Good god. I feel like screaming at people to get a f*cking grip.

A girl after my own heart. I had wellies like that once upon a time- they go with EVERYTHING! Whatever the season.

I'm sure they are beautiful knitting needles. It's more than my life's worth to get near them at the moment though. DJ Mikey is worried Reenie might come up to him in the night and spike his eyes....
