Knitted house

house.jpg

A LARGE project!

With London Architecture week came to advent of the knittingsite.org A site to record the process of constructing a knitted house. Life sized. You can see the process from start to finish by looking at the two galleries of photographs on the knittingsite.org.

You can even download the pattern.

Definately a big project.....

See you at woolfest.....bright blue tunnel tent, either silver citroen or maroon renaut with a green door. I'm a "big" girl with shortish light brown hair. Might have scottish flag beside tent, depends if we bring it!!!!!!! But I'll look out for you.

Love the house! Quite clearly a solution to the ever increasing rents and mortgages? Or the decent homes shortage?

I would describe how to find me at WoolFest, but I think my dreads are pretty recognisable. Or so I'm told....
