FO: Gwen

I finished the Gwen cardie from Rowan 39, by Leah Sutton. Knitted in Rowan Handknit Cotton, Seafarer colourway. It looks just like the picture, so I thought you might prefer these close ups. I love the colour. The buttons are paua shell and match beautifully. It fits perfectly. Well it does now. I have to take out the knitted cast off border round the neck as it just wasn't lying right. I tend to cast off rather tightly. So, using my new found crochet skills, I did a simple double crochet edging, and it's much better. Thanks to Carol Meldrum who taught the workshop recently I felt confident enough to crochet my first neck edging!

Pics of me wearing it to follow. Maybe.
