1. Egg Nog or Hot Chocolate? Green and Black's cocoa, with a short of Sailor Jerry in it. Ditto.

2. Does Santa wrap presents or just sit them under the tree? Santa ia an anagram of Satan.... We don't do presents or trees.

3. Colored lights on tree/house or white? White. Ditto. Although the lights I put up four years ago have stayed up ever since.

4. Do you hang mistletoe? Mistletoe is poisonous to cats so Greebo says no. And it's not nice to pick mistletoe anyway. Nope. I hate the idea of having to snog someone I don't like.

5. When do you put your decorations up? If I bother at all, about 21st - shortest day, equinox, Yule and all that. I'm not big on the whole Christian angle. When I was a kid was always the 18th of December, as that is my birthday. Still kind of like that 'week before' theme.

6. What is your favorite holiday dish (excluding dessert)? Champagne. The Sibling is making champagne sorbet this year. That combines two loves in one. Yum. Well done roast potatoes. And champagne.

7. Favorite Holiday memory as a child: Ermmmmmmm...... I hate Christmas holidays. Ermmmm......... nope. Too hard. Dad trying to build the lego we got every year in front of the Bond film. The lego men ended up being buried in the garden. Dad still finds them when he mows.

8. When and how did you learn the truth about Santa? I think I knew when I was about 6, but only realised Santa was an anagram of Satan when I was about 9. What truth?

9. Do you open a gift on Christmas Eve? No. Christmas Day is my mother's birthday, and we always celebrate her birthday on Christmas Eve. No!

10. How do you decorate your Christmas Tree? If I bother, I have a black tree, with lots and lots of white lights and clear crystal or silver decorations. No tinsel. No tree. Poor things. They should be outside. Unless they are plastic.

11. Snow! Love it or Dread it? I LOVE snow. I get nearly as excited about snow as I do about thunderstorms or fireworks. And that is pretty excited I can tell you. I jump up and down like a four year old.... Love, love, love.

12. Can you ice skate? No. No desire to go to a rink. Ever. No point. Why pay money to wear silly shoes, fall over and make an arse of yourself? I can do that easily any day of the week.... I could once. No more, after realising I needed an ice-zimmer frame when at the Olympic rink at Calgary. The shame.

13. Do you remember your favorite gift? No. I get my birthday and Christmas gifts mixed up - can never remember which was which. Ditto

14. What's the most important thing about the Holidays for you? Ermmmmmmm ....... the end of them? Champagne. Being off work for over a week. Champagne. Christmas surf.

15. What is your favorite Holiday Dessert? The cheese board. My mum's homemade christmas pudding (sugerless) with thin, hot custard.

16. What is your favorite holiday tradition? Champagne at breakfast time. The post-dinner walk.

17. What tops your tree? A large silver star. When I bother. Why are you so obsessed by trees? Just drop it, ok?

18. Which do you prefer giving or receiving? That's a bit personal.... oh I see..... Giving. hahahahahaha

19. What is your favorite Christmas Song? Haven't a favourite. They are universally schmaltzy IMHO. I used to like We Three Kings at school. It's got a bit of a football chant feel about it.... I like all the minor key ones- the ones that make you feel sad and generally involve dying animals or serfs.

20. Candy Canes... Yuck or Yum? Yuck, yuck, yuck and more yuck. Yuck
