The best chocolates ever

prune.jpg

Agen, hmm, prune

A huge hug to Glittr for her birthday present to me: a box of my favourite chocolates, from Plaisir du Chocolat. There is just something so special about receiving these chocolates- they are not the sort you shove down in sugar desperation, or because you are feeling sad about life in general. They look so beautiful, and each flavour has a back story. As I'm going away for work on Thursday, DJ Mikey and I have been sharing a few every evening (and they are made with such pure ingrediants, you have to eat them within 5 days anyway. Quel horreur!)- we cut each one in half so that we can both have a taste of each flavour. Even the packaging is beautiful and can be reused for all sorts of things (we keep photos in ours). I'm due up in Edinburgh at the end of January, so am aiming to try out their new Salon when I am there.

mmmmmmm prune indeed. I love prune anything but I think I would love these chocolates more than any other prune flavoured thing I can think of.....

Aren't prunes great? Am a bit obsessed with them at the moment. Can recommend Waitrose prunes for their gooey pruney goodness. Even better are their Agen prunes, but can't afford those.

I have three every morning, cut up into my live yoghurt. I am such a hippy.
