St. Ives
One of my favourite days out in Cornwall: park for free in Liskeard Station car park, catch the train to St. Erth, and then change for St. Ives. You get sea, sand, a cold glass of pinot with some mussels and fresh bread, the Tate St. Ives for art, the Barbara Hepworth Studio for sculpture, and loads of hilly, winding streets to walk around, with lots of art gallerys and shops to poke around in.
