Suzanne socks

Suzanne socks

Knitted to my own pattern with yarn from Purlpower, which was given to me for my birthday just before she left for Spain.

The basic sock is a 3x2 rib, on this pair I did a 1x1 coff which I have since eliminated from my basic pattern. Flap heel adn gusset, because I have high insteps, and I can get them to fit me better than any other heel I have tried. They fit perfectly, and after knitting this pair (UK ladies size 4) I have enough yarn left for another pair from the one skein.

I would highly recommend this Wollmeise sock yarn. Great colours (this is the darkest version of the Suzanne colourway), great yardage and they wash really well too. Muchas gracias to Purlpower for giving me the yarn, it was dream to knit with, and I love the socks.

Great to see them all knitted up. Look bright and cheerful, just like their owner!
