Morgan

From Autumn Knitty I present Morgan. Well, blocking anyway.....

More pics when it's dry and I can take a pic of myself wearing it.

Knitted with two balls of King Australian Merinos Lame, gifted recently by etcgirl. I knitted mine on a set of 5x4mm dpns rather than two circulars as suggested in the pattern. Really nice little knit with interesting shaping, which turns out a very nicely shaped hat.

Edited to add pics:

Very classy.

Might have to try it meself. Was the shaping a real struggle? If so I might not manage it. I'm in trouble turning a heel this evening - have pulled it all back twice already. Ho hum. ;)

A beautiful job, looks better than the original and very interesting yarn- also looks great on you. My one caveat is a personal quirk in that I have to admit to hating flat caps!!!! I think I read too much Andy Cap secretly when I was a kid...

Looks fabulous! I really like the choice of yarn for that project too, it looks like a perfect match. Tweedy.
