Seaweed scarf

Seaweed scarf by Liz Baxter

Phew! What a LOT of knitting this took. I used two balls of Rowan RYC cashcotton 4 ply in the Chartreuse colourway, purchased for a song in a recent John Lewis sale. I have been coveting the version of this scarf that one of the Centurion Knitters made some time ago, and when she offered to lend me the pattern I jumped at the chance. It was a really easy knit - just one row repeated again and again. Mine has turned out 5 inches wide (including the fringing) and 73 inches long. It is a perfect length for draping around a crystal candlestick.....

Looks cracking! I love all the RYC cash mix yarns, they knit up so beautifully and seem to wear well considering how delicate some of the constituent fibres are. Nice work!

What a beautiful scarf.

I've just taken up knitting again and I'd love to try to knit this one, do you know where I can get the pattern?
