Shetland Shorty
It's taken a while to finish (it sat like a naughty kitten in a box over Christmas), but here's the Knitty Shetland Shorty in RYC Cashcotton Soft 4 ply, Cyclamen(3 balls required). It's a lovely yarn, as it's name suggests, very soft. Knitted on 3.5 mm needles as per pattern, and despite getting gauge, the pattern does knit up quite large- this is a medium size, and it's too big for the original intended recipient. Luckily I have another friend who it is perfect for.
The wrap turns didn't look brilliant on the collar, so I embroidered flowers over the turns in the same wool, then highlighted with pale pink embroidery silk.

It's lovely! I was thinking how cute the embroidery looked before I read about your reason for doing it. Really pretty.
