Walking Cable Socks- Finished
Pattern from Yarn Foward No. 7 (December '08), by Anniken Allis. A very nice pattern, although there are some errata in the magazine, so check out their webpage before you knit.
Yarn is Calmer from Rowan, in a very old, long extinguished shade- but it works really well for a thick, soft, comforting sock. Probably best for indoor wear, I'd imagine. Not sure it'd stand up to proper hiking boots.

Oooooh gorgeous! Beautiful colour, and they look toasty - just the thing in the winter snap the rest of the country seems to be having today.
