Rapper dancing for St George's Day

Northumbrian rapper dance from the team at Newcastle University tonight as a surprise in the Hotspur as they go on their way to a four team display in Swalwell. I love this marvellous expression of my heritage. And on St George's Day - perfect! And Thank You to the lads and fiddle player.

Edited to add: Great potted history of this dance originating with the coal miners of the Tyne Valley, which informed me that the team we saw in the Hotspur is the Newcastle Kingsmen, which was formed in 1949. And here is a video of the same team in Edinburgh a couple of years ago:
