Silk flower beaded choker

silkchoker1.jpg
Some time ago I scored some end of line pure Jaeger silk. This is a project I started a LONG time ago with some baby blue pure Jaeger silk from that batch. I knitted a diagonal garter stitch choker, then added a flower I pilfered from one of the projects in Rowan, which I embellished almost to the point of encrustation with a selection of pearl buttons and beads, and some clear glass silver lined beads. It fastens with two press studs.

That's stunning! What's it sitting on in the first pic?

Hi Robynn thanks for the nice comment :D It's sitting on a garden ornament I bought a couple of years ago in a garden centre, specifically to model hats.....

That is so beautiful. What a lovely colour, and I love the embellishments also.
