St Julien l'Ars - following up
I just spent some time getting all my notes and swatches into some sort of order. I blocked all my little squares of colour and pattern, and put them in plastic pockets and I put them all into a lovely translucent lever arch file. My first knitters sketchbook.
I am starting to feel like a designer! Everything I learnt is being put into a secret project - not any of the ones I started in France (the cushion cover will have to wait until the secret thing is done as its on a deadline).
I have enjoyed reflecting on my week away, and feel re-inspired to keep on exploring colour and inspiration from things around me.
Can i go back next year please?

Joining the workshop again is now my entire reason for wanting my contract renewed.... I won't be able to afford to go if that doesn't happen (as will be saving to a) pay off mortgage in totality and b) bog off to NZ for a year with Mike and his family.
But, if I get even a whiff of extra contract renewal, I'll be there!
