I love Finnish design

ittalo_cup1.jpgAll I could afford after my yarn purchasing, was this iittala ego breakfast cup. I was going to buy the saucer too but forgot. I may have to add to it in the future. But oh what a lovely thing to drink tea from! I can't stop looking at its sublime lines and pleasing shape. If you hook your hand under the handle and cup the vessel in your hand, it is so soothing. Perfect for nice warm drinks of chocolate and hot tea as autumn closes in.

Oh so lovely. Our Iittala saucepans are just as gorgeous! I am seriously lusting after their folkloric china as well...

Ah how deliciously minimal. Makes me want to redouble the declutter. ;)

I love it too. Good beverages deserve good design. Nice find.
