Tuesday nights at The Bridge

Miss Spiritual Tramps Knitting Circle meets at The Bridge on Tuesdays. We have done for a while.

Tonight was one of THE most pleasant I have spent there. We had crossover knitters from the Saturday group, Centurion Knitters, and that was really nice. I hope they come again.

This evening there was a group of Northumbrian pipers playing together there. Now I am getting more sentimental about my regional heritage the older I get, and I like hearing the Northumbrian pipes anyway. They are quietly melodic. They are small and perfectly formed.

Hearing a group playing together tonight was a quite perfect accompaniment to the gentle art of knitting.

I feel at peace.

What more could you ask?
