Peaks Island Hood

peaksislandhood1.jpgSo squishy! So soft! So lofty! So light! So warm! Knitted with 3 balls of Rowan Alpaca Cotton in the Thunder colourway. I used 3 buttons purchased at Woolfest some time ago, which are Alt Maen Quarry Buttons, handmade from slate for Spinning a Yarn. I like how they hardness contrasts with the squishyness of the garment. In point of fact I am now DYING for it to get cold so that I can wear this! Pattern is by Ysolda Teague from Whimsical LIttle Knits 2.
