#11in11 progress with usual cat help

thetube.jpgNumber 4 is completely done. I knitted a huge tube, them seamed top to bottom with right sides together. I left a gap and turned it through so that the seam is on the inside of the double layer tube and rearranged it so that the seam runs vertically on the inside, and the stripes, which were knitted running horizontally round the tube. now run vertically on this cowl. Loads of knitting but totally worth it.

kerchief.jpgNumber 6 is this Romney Kerchief from Jared Flood's pattern. Knitted with one skein of aran weight Shepherd's Wool, which is tweedy and deliciously soft. Again a really easy pattern. I have chosen easy patterns for most of my #11in11s, as I usually knit them at the pub or The Knit Studio over beer or tea and chatting with friends.

stripeshawl.jpgNumber 7 is the Stripe Study Shawl by Veera Välimäki, which is about 90% done. As I am quite far on with this project, I am going to have a break from neckerthings after this one, and only finish naughty corner projects for the remaining 4. I am going to knit a couple of garments in the meantime. Which will be nice - spring cardies, yay!

And of course Greebo loves to help....

Tell Greebo that if he wants to take a vacation, he's welcome to come to my place and help me with my knitting! :)
