Knitted terrorist profile

Josie Mistry, codename: AVENGER

What is your weapon of choice?

My bare fists, taught, muscular nimble, flexible physique and my cunning mind.

What is your favourite yarn?

Any colour double knit 100% pure new wool. It's so versatile. I can use it for making ropes, harnesses, nets, tying up enemies...anything!

What constitutes happiness for you?

Apart from getting a nice new catsuit with a nice hipster belt..there isn't much more to life. I want more catsuits..with zips. Zips are sexy! I need more catsuits with zips.

Provide us with your favourite manifesto quote:

Jimmy Porter: It's no good fooling about with love you know. You can't fall into it like a soft job without dirtying up your hands. It takes muscle and guts. If you can't bear the thought of messing up your nice, tidy soul, you better give up the whole idea of life and become a saint, because you'll never make it as a human being. It's either this world... or the next.

Anyone who doesn't like jazz has no real feeling for music, or people.

I learned at an early age what it is to be angry. Angry. Helpless. From 'Look Back in Anger', John Osborne, 1956

What is your most treasured possession?

Apart from my cunning and physical attributes I do love my collections of 60's TV box set and my arsenal of Action Man weaponry.

Which terrorist/freedom fighter/capitalist pigdog (we like to be open-minded) do you most admire and why?

  1. John Osbourne, writer of Look Back in Anger, 1956. See manifesto for some quotes from the first Angry Young Man of the theatre.
  2. Patrick MacGoohan in The Prisoner.
  3. Mary Quant's Havoc

What is your favourite film torture scene? Anything from Dirty Dancing cannot be used, in order to protect the innocent.

I like a lot of the interrogation scenes in The Prisoner because No.6 always holds his own against No. 2. What a trouper he is. I adore him!... and I like the ball chairs they have. I'd like one of those!

Which song would you like played at your funeral?

Rousing 60's spy film and TV soundtracks
